C. Murphy is a crafter, artist, writer, farmer… a little bit of everything. When asked their medium, the best answer is “curiosity”–refusing to settle down into one but instead devoting their life to learning and exploring.
C. is non-binary, queer, and neurodivergent–they like to say they’ve lived many lives as this point, including years working in adult retail and teaching pleasure-based sex education, many years freelancing writing, illustration, and graphic design, and even more years wandering near and far. A passion for learning and keen interest in anthropology and education fuel just about everything they do. They assume nothing and don’t take anything for granted.
Mediums they’ve spent significant time with include painting, drawing, photography, digital arts, herbal remedies, knitting and woodworking. Others include but are not limited to broommaking, bobbin lace, spinning yarn, natural dyes, printmaking, blacksmithing, sewing, and many many more.
